Fall Creek Adventures is isolated

You want to be away from population masses until order is restored

ways to get water

snow melt fed streams

Fall Creek Adventures can provide water in additional ways

The water/diamond rule comes to mind – the value of those 2 items switches during crisis.  Fall Creek Adventures is rare among mountain properties in it’s ability to generate water supply.  The property owner can drill a well, collecting snow melt in the Spring into a cistern or by finding and developing one of the many springs in this area into a water supply.

ways to access property

Fall Creek Adventures offers multiple alternative access routes

During times of crisis, road ways become blocked or unavailable.  You need a spot that allows you multiple ways of getting from your permanent residence to your long term plan.  There are 4 paths from the Treasure Valley to Fall Creek Adventures, one of which is a SXS path, making your SXS your back up emergency vehicle.  Having this many choices, including a OHV path is extremely rare in a mountain property.

Fall Creek Adventures has natural fire barriers

If your cabin were to become your long term residence, protection from wild fires would become an even higher priority.  Fall Creek Adventures partially wooded landscape places cabin pads in open spaces, giving some distance between your cabin and fire.

Fall Creek Adventures has nearby food sources

Locals recognize Fall Creek road as a great spot to hunt.

What’s even better is that right below Fall Creek Adventures sits a hidden valley.  You could use your front porch as a hunting perch.  Animals roam across your land daily and that comes in handy in a pinch.

We capture lots of elk on the trail cams up there

Fall Creek Adventures is 3 miles from the MiddleFork of the Weiser River which has Brook Trout, Mountain Whitefish, Rainbow Trout and Redband Trout.

This is the bridge that crosses the Middlefork of the Weiser River and is the turn off from MiddleFork Road on to Fall Creek road.  This spot is a 10 minute OHV ride from Fall Creek Adventures

Within 9 miles is the Weiser River, Cascade Reservoir and Ben Ross Reservoir.  On top of that, there are 8 additional reservoirs within a 40 mile span.  Lots of options for fishing. It is nice to have a couple neighbors nearby during a crisis to provide social connection, information and collaboration for problems.

Fall Creek Adventures requires off-grid power

Building your cabin using solar panels gives you time to develop a spot that will work during a long-term electrical grids failure

G LTE Coverage

Fall Creek Adventures receives strong radio signals

In the event things crumble, 2-way radios become the mode of communication and being on a mountainside means you’re above obstacles that knock that signal down.  The 4G and 5G cell coverage across all providers is evidence of that reality.

Another connectivity benefit is the existence of nearby ham radio repeaters.  No Business Lookout has one 12 miles away.  There is a 2nd one 27 miles away on Brundage Mountain.

Fall Creek Adventures gives you a built in community

It is nice to have a couple neighbors nearby during a crisis to provide social connection, information and collaboration for problems.
